Wildly successful actress and frequent cover girl, Cameron Diaz, recently admitted that kids are a lot of work. In an interview with Esquire Magazine, 41 year old Diaz opened up about her difficult decision not to have kids.
She remarked “It’s so much more work to have children. To have lives besides your own that you are responsible for -- I didn’t take that on. That did make things easier for me. A baby -- that’s all day, every day for eighteen years.”
She went on to say she likes protecting people and the idea of being the protector in general but said in her own words that she simply wasn’t drawn to being a mom. Those statements don’t mean she doesn’t like kids though.
