Monday morning, Eric Trump tweeted, “The [Washington Post] should be ashamed of themselves. This is a criminal act. Disgusting what some media has become.”
He also copied Amazon’s billionaire founder Jeff Bezos who owns the newspaper.
Trump was responding to a message someone else had tweeted about the Post calling the incident “a daring act of defiance.”
The report centers around an environmental activist group which trespassed onto the course Sunday morning and claims to have spent less than an hour carving out large letters on the green, reading, “NO MORE
