Description :
Heavy rail and hail hit the Landeck district of Austria’s western state of Tyrol on August 1, causing debris from the Schanne gorge to dam the Rosanna river and flood low-lying areas.
This footage, posted by the local fire department, shows construction equipment removing the rubble from the Rosanna to prevent further flooding. A glimpse of the flooded area is also available.
According to a report from Weiner Zeitung, 180 firefighters were put into action to free the river. Credit: Bezirksfeuerwehrverband Landeck via Storyful
