LeBron's 'Space Jam 2' Gets
Summer 2021 Release Date If you wanna jam, mark your calendars for July 16, 2021. Warner Bros. and SpringHill Entertainment confirmed the date for the highly-anticipated sequel. 'Black Panther' director Ryan Coogler is producing and Terence Nance will direct 'Space Jam 2.' The film will be a follow-up to 1996's 'Space Jam,' featuring Michael Jordan. It will be James' first starring role after acting as a supporting character in Amy Schumer's 2015 comedy, 'Trainwreck.' It is not yet known which other NBA stars
will star alongside James, Bugs Bunny and
the 'Looney Tunes' gang. The 1996 film featured former NBA stars
Larry Bird, Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing,
Muggsy Bogues and Shawn Bradley. 'Space Jam' grossed
$230 million worldwide.
