Editing images in photoshop and removing objects or isolating them to move to other images can be a time consuming endeavor, but maybe not anymore.Meta has just announced a new AI it says can find specific objects in images or videos and isolate them. Not only allowing the easy removal of the object, but also collecting the dataset of what the object looks like at the same time. They’re calling it the Segment Anything Model, or SAM and it could change more than just photo and video editing. Buzz60’s Tony Spitz has the details.
