The Oculus Rift Development Kit 2 is a product that I recommend buying. If CV1 is as much as 5% better than this, I will be surprised, because this is fucking awesome, borderlining perfection. The only problem buying the DK2 now is availability and the fact that you'll have to deal with many software issues that are still getting resolved. If that isn't too much a problem for you, DK2 is it! Otherwise, wait for the CV1 era which is extremely close!
