The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has said that the feud between the government and political parties has brought the country on the brink of bankruptcy. He warned if the differences were not resolved soon by serious and meaningful dialogues then a stage may come where the country as a whole or in parts might be put on stake. He said this while talking to members of the Co-ordination Committee in London and Pakistan and office-bearers of different departments of the MQM on telephone.
Mr Hussain appealed to the leaders of political and religious parties, serious and honest writers and intellectuals to step forward for resolving the issues by bringing both the government and the political parties on the table in order to pull the country out of the present political quagmire.
