The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning for Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, on July 17, after thunderstorms caused hail and flooding in some areas.
Heavy rain and hail pummeled Wilkes-Barre, with the occasional lightning flash. In Larksville, lighting sparked a small fire at an abandoned home.
